Majestically crowned faux taxidermy deer head wall mount. This beautiful deer head wall art will add a touch of majestic whimsy to any room in the home! The item shown in the listing images was painted as follows: Deer Head Color: Antique White, Antler Color: Antique Gold, the eyes are dark brown. The deer head has been accented with the antler in order to bring out the beautiful details in the cast. The antlers have been accented with antique white in order to add depth and visual interest. A beautiful star tiara/crown in antique gold rests atop the head of the deer, it's removable so you may choose when to use it. This tiara/ crown is new but appears vintage with its rusty antique finish, gilded in gold and accented with distressed rhinestones. It is a reproduction of an antique 1800's French Santos crown and has one large star in front with 3 more stars on either side. The crown is antiqued and distressed in a shabby chic design. It is constructed of metal and has been oxidized for a rusty, vintage appearance. It features uneven stones (their position, angle, size, and/or shimmer) are an intentional part of the antiquing and 'shabby' process.
The deer head and antlers are made of cold cast resin. The entire piece measures 23" tall X 16" wide and 13" deep and weighs approx. 6 lbs. Built in hole on back for easy hanging.
Some beautiful ways to change up the look of this piece are to add a bow around the neck for various holidays, or hang a wreath around it, boxwood is my favorite!

The antlers are removable and will be shipped unattached in order to save space and shipping costs. Simply glue in place with an industrial type adhesive such as E6000 which is available at WalMart, Michaels, Hobby Lobby etc.
